YPO membership is exclusive. To qualify for YPO Florida, candidates must meet YPO's global membership criteria.

The prospect submits their application to YPO.

The application undergoes a formal eligibility review by YPO International to confirm the candidate meets global membership criteria.

Local Chapter Review

The application is submitted to YPO Florida for the chapter's own review and consideration.

Initial Notice to Members

An initial notice is sent to YPO Florida members introducing the prospect to the chapter community.

1st Virtual Interview

The prospect participates in a first virtual interview with a YPO Florida membership committee member.

3rd Party Verification

An independent third-party verification is conducted to validate the candidate's credentials and eligibility.

2nd In-Person Interview

The prospect meets face-to-face with a chapter member for a deeper, more personal conversation about fit and engagement.

Preboarding Call with YPO

A preboarding call is conducted with YPO to prepare the prospect for what membership looks like and what to expect.

Notice of Membership Intent & Officer Approval

A formal notice of membership intent is sent to the chapter, followed by officer approval.

Invoice Sent

An invoice for membership dues is sent to the approved candidate.

Invoice Paid & Membership Confirmed

Upon payment, membership is officially confirmed. Welcome to YPO Florida.

Onboarding, Training & Forum Placement

The new member is onboarded, completes training, and is placed into a forum — their core peer group within YPO Florida.
